Future Building

Exciting times are ahead for the Woodward-Granger Schools! As our communities and school district grow together, the Woodward-Granger Community School District has been committed to managing and shaping its future to maintain the core values that students, staff, and residents have come to expect.

Through the efforts of a long-term planning process, a dedicated team of community members envisioned the long-range need for new and improved secondary learning spaces to serve its growing enrollment. In order to achieve this vision, a multi-phased project will begin with the construction of a new 6-8 Middle School in Granger, projected to open to the public in August of 2026! This facility will be creatively designed to support the eventual transition to a comprehensive high school campus. Additionally, the District will remodel and improve existing space at the Woodward secondary campus as middle-level students transition to the new school.

District Tax Impact

The District does not anticipate a levy rate impact due to the bond issuance. The District’s levy to pay for debt service will continue at the same approximate levy rate as it has been since fiscal year 2015. The new projects identified are anticipated to extend the debt payment of the District an additional 11 years (through 2046) from the current final payoff date (2035).
